The design of an Information Security Plan for the National Educational Savings and Credit Cooperative COONFIE, Neiva headquarters, is carried out in search of a single objective that focuses on creating organizational awareness regarding the protection of information, assets and resources. data. The initial stage of the project focuses on the search for sources that allow giving importance and relevance to this issue, based on a security diagnosis that showed several essential points of urgent intervention. Applying information collection tools such as observation, interviews and surveys to evaluate the current state of security in the two offices of the Cooperative located in the city of Neiva, the lack of safe practices in the computer area and the lack of concern are established. by the management of the offices to adopt measures in this regard. Finally, a proposal is designed that, when implemented, will help the National Educational Savings and Credit Cooperative COONFIE, Neiva headquarters, to improve its protection against risks inherent to its activity and will mark the route to start a comprehensive project that encompasses all security levels in the cooperative.
