This paper proposes to expose the importance of school Religious Education in the training of students of the IED Integrado of Pulí Cundinamarca Colombia. The youth reflects lack of values and principles that impede their life among community, in them it is observed apathy towards study, low commitment in their duties and minimum sense of belonging for their territory; Based on a qualitative research, it was possible to visualize the roots of the problem, the armed conflict for more than two decades by groups outside the law, and the erroneous interpretation of the laws caused the family to lose the sense of education. Parents Authority disappeared generating a parenting without the practice of values; through narrative documentation, being this as a mode of inquiry and pedagogical action oriented to reconstruct and interpret the senses and meanings that teachers produce and put into play when they write, read, reflect and talk among colleagues about their own educational experiences ( Suárez, 2003 and 2005). Through conversational interviews with leaders of the community and with the directives of the institution, it was possible to agree on the implementation of a pedagogical strategy in the area of Religious Education that will help to reconstruct the essence of the Pulis´inhabitant that also be a useful guide for teachers in the orientation of the mentioned subject, since it is only seen as an area that is assigned to any teacher in order to meet their academical time requirement, without taking into account their profile as the indicated.
