Estudio de la dinámica de conflictos socioambientales generados por las actividades de exploración de hidrocarburos en el área de influencia del pozo lorito 1, ubicado en la vereda Montecristo-municipio de Guamal (Meta).
The exploration of hydrocarbons has generated conflicts of social and environmental type in the Foothills Ranger due to the possible effects that this provokes on the stability of the ground and the sources of water. The active opposition against the installation of the Platform Lorito 1 in the Vereda Montecristo (Guamal-Meta) brought with it the suspension of this same in the year 2012. Although the conflict has been latent, as this platform is part of the largest exploratory bloc in the country (block CPO-9), new findings have been announced during the test perforations. (Observatory of Environmental Conflicts, 2014). This research was aimed at analyzing the socio-environmental conflicts that have been generated by the exploration of hydrocarbons in the well Lorito 1, starting from a systematic review of secondary information compiled through the Documents taken from the database of Comacarena, Ecopetrol S.A. and the Secretary of the Environment and mining-energy resources. A socio-environmental characterization of the area of influence of the well Lorito 1 was carried out, with the application of a survey to 40 inhabitants of the Vereda and with which a community workshop was carried out, where information of historical aspects was obtained, Demographic and economic, and past and current events of the sidewalk applying the participatory Action Research Methodology IAP (Alberich, 2007) Finally, with the compiled information, a classification of socio-environmental conflicts identified by the use of the CAT tool (Redorta, 2004) was carried out, and the relationship between the social problems and the activities of Exploration following the methodology proposed by Guillen and Paniagua (2006). This last one allowed to recognize that the activities that have been carried out against the industry like marches, seedlings and blockades present a low intensity because they have been solved except the perforations of test that are currently developed in The well. It is concluded that the conflicts that have arisen in the area are by scarce resources because of the ineffectiveness of the territorial entities, by expectations that generated in the community the arrival of the company to the zone, by particular and collective interests, for lack of Truthful and timely information of the companies generating the socio-environmental conflict and by inhibition due to the blockades of access to the platform to avoid the exploration.
