This work mentions the details related to the degree project that was carried out as an assistant intern of a civil engineering university professional at the Contraloría General de Boyacá, in the Dirección Operativa de Obras Civiles y Valoración de Costos Ambientales This entity is delegated to oversee, in accordance with constitutional norms, the management of administrations as well as individuals who handle public funds or resources of the state. The activities carried out involve the evaluation and physical control of the results of public projects that are contracted by municipalities or external public and/or private entities in the department of Boyacá. The main objective is to measure the efficiency of the work, execution, activities, construction processes, taking into account quantity, quality, functionality, benefit, cost, and design opportunity, considering environmental assessment. This involves estimating costs, where the respective comparison is made based on the unit price listings set by the Government of Boyacá, depending on the year of the complaint, audit, or fiscal responsibility process. The respective pre-reports of audits, fiscal responsibility processes, or complaints assigned for continuation are then carried out.
