The present research aims to identify the psychosocial risk factors to which two Venezuelan immigrant adolescents are exposed at the Catumare Educational Institution in the city of Villavicencio. The development of the research is based on the interpretive paradigm, the theoretical construct of systemic thought and the epistemology of social constructionism, in order to identify, describe, recognize and make visible the multiplicity of realities that emerge from the immigrant population. Given the importance and usefulness of the case studies, the application of these in the investigation is proposed, together with in-depth interviews, since they propose adequate and effective strategies from the qualitative to achieve the proposed objective. Three a priori categories were respectively analyzed corresponding to (Psychosocial risk factors, Adolescence, Immigration). Finally, it was possible to show that the participants have been exposed to psychosocial risk factors in their educational context, which are constituted in the consumption of psychoactive substances, social pressure and exclusion. What has configured a series of changes at an emotional and social level, causing significant impacts on self-esteem and as well as difficulties in establishing interpersonal relationships.
