This academic project aims to present an architectural proposal of a cinematheque, in the municipality of Bucaramanga, for the dissemination, restoration and audiovisual conservation with emphasis on immersions of digital projection. An analysis of the object, subject and context was made to develop the project, and based on that information, the methodology was developed under four components: formal, urban, technical and functional. The process began with the collection and analysis of the information of the three basic elements to develop the project: first, the object or element to be designed, which in this particular case, it refers to the spaces where, the cinematographic elements are projected, conserved and restored; second, the context, understood as the sustenance of what is going to be done, that is, with a journey through the cinema´s history and its evolution in the techniques and spaces of projection in the world, in Colombia and in Bucaramanga; and third, the subject, which corresponds to the users group to whom this work is directed. Finally, the results of the initial information analysis of the three basic elements are used to build the methodological components. The methodology was built under the following components: the technician has the intention to meet the physical space requirements of each room; the functional one, which includes the architectural program and the area chart; the urban one, which is prepared in accordance with the provisions of the land use plan; the formal, which applies some of the principles of organic architecture and that promotes harmony in the unified composition of the building with the natural environment.
