This work was developed based on the need to regulate the maintenance plan of the Air Navigation systems in Colombia that belong to the civil aviation authority (Aerocivil). In the current regulations there are no maintenance plans for the following systems: communications, energy, surveillance, meteorology and navigation; Therefore, the main objective of this work is to develop a regulation proposal that establishes the guidelines for the maintenance of radio navigation aids, applicable in Colombia. A phase-based methodology was used, considering the recommendations and regulations in force on maintenance in air navigation systems, as well as the study of regulation in other countries and recommended by official entities. Due to the above, a comparative analysis is carried out considering the aeronautical infrastructure in Colombia and its relationship with information and communications technologies, to finally identify which recommendations and regulations are applicable in Colombia. As a result, a proposal for regulations was obtained in which maintenance plans were determined based on the collection and analysis of information obtained from international official entities, manufacturers and current regulations. Finally, the conclusions are presented, which contemplate benefits that would be achieved as a result of applying the maintenance plan proposed in this document.
