Abstract:

One of the areas with the highest academic mortality in the educational institutions of San Andre is mathematics. Considering this problem, this article aims to show what has been the contribution of virtual learning objects in the teaching of mathematics to students of the educational institutions Brooks Hill Bilingual School and Flowers Hill Bilingual School of San Andres, Islands. The study is structured as follows: description of the research problem, theoretical and conceptual review through a framework of reference, the methodological aspects and the presentation, interpretation and analysis of the results. It is concluded that the pedagogical accompaniment with the use of virtual learning objects, for the acquisition of mathematics for third grade students, is an effective educational strategy, which favors the acquisition of mathematical concepts in students, improving interest in the subject and favoring the conditions for their learning
