This paper presents the characterizations of a design of a sequence of activities for the teaching of the conics starting from the implementation of the first two phases of a didactic engineering and the implementation of some of the characteristics used in the Theory of Didactic Situations. This design started with the realization of four types of analysis (conceptual, didactic, current education and population) and the consideration made to the various didactic variables in engineering.
