The main objective of this research project is to propose a pedagogical strategy that allows teachers to generate a greater impact on the understanding and relationship of biology concepts associated with the human locomotor, respiratory and circulatory systems, through the implementation of basic yoga routines and mindfulness. For this purpose, a mixed-type methodology was used with a qualitative preponderance and action research approach A type of sample by convenience in network, was selected. Conformed by 17 teachers from the area of natural sciences, with teaching experience of more than 3 years, belonging to Colombian public educational institutions. For data collection, the following instruments were implemented: expert's opinion online survey, semi-structured non-face-to-face interview, systematized bibliographic review, and decision matrix. According to the results obtained, it was determined that prior to the implementation of a pedagogical strategy in the classroom, it is essential to provide guidance to teachers in order to motivate them, contribute to their integral professionalization process and generate curiosity in them about this type of subject. Likewise, it was determined that for this process teachers prefer tools that include interactive and multimedia elements, it was also concluded that the trend in documentary productions related to yoga and mindfulness has been increasing especially during the last 5 years and even traditional editorials have started to publish books associated with the subject.
