Influencia de una estrategia pedagógica basada en rimas y rondas infantiles en la pronunciación de sonidos fricativos y africados del inglés en los estudiantes ce la etr ia emberá-chamí.
English is one of the main problems for students of the national education system, especially for the indigenous people who are in it, being even more complicated the pronunciation of some sounds such as fricatives and affricates. Starting from this problematic, the present research work was aimed at "Analyzing the incidence of a strategy based on the fricative and affricate sounds of English through nursery rhymes and rounds applied to students belonging to the Embera Chamí ethnic group" which was reached under the qualitative methodological design, a type of research called action research and a descriptive scope, which allowed through the implementation of data collection instruments such as the diagnostic phonetic test, final phonetic test, the field diary and an instrument of phonetic evaluation, to evaluate the fricative and affricate sounds at the beginning of the investigation, during and at the end of the same part so, to obtain more concise results. This research was implemented in 14 young people belonging to the Embera Chamí indigenous community, who are studying at Sagrado Corazón de Jesús School in the municipality of Trujillo, who underwent a process of twelve interventions, obtaining as initial results a low level of pronunciation. Likewise the low level of vocabulary possessed by the students could be evidenced. Finally the respective final evaluations are made in which there is a noticeable improvement with respect to the pronunciation of the fricative and affricate sounds, thanks to the strategy based on the nursery rhymes and rounds.
