An alternative approach to time delay estimation for the Bispectral Index (BIS) monitor is presented in this work. The practical implementation of the cross-correlation analysis (CCA) method is presented. The time delay estimation using windows and the robustness comparison between Peaks-Shift Correlation (PSC) and CCA methods are studied.
