To design a national program to reduce stunting & increase exclusive breastfeeding in Bangladesh, formative research was conducted in purposively selected urban & rural communities. A 24‐h diet recall was applied to 195 caregivers in purposively selected homes of children< 2 y to evaluate the child's diet. Seven intervention options were simulated: 5 g oil/meal/d; 1 Sprinkles sachet/d containing Fe, Zn, vitamin A (VA), vitamin C (VC), folic acid; 10–17.5 g fish/d; & all possible combinations.
