Abstract fThe transfer enthalpy of acetic acid from water to benzene is determined, with a value of 3133, 7 Jmol (-1), by means of the solution enthalpies evaluation of the acid to different concentrations, in the region of high dilution, in both solvents. The solution enthalpies are in a range of-2, 02 and-2, 33 kJmol (-1) and of 1,183 and 1,191 kJmol (-1) for the water and the benzene respectively. The solution enthalpies to infinite dilution are of-1951 and 1182 Jmol (-1) for the water and the benzene demonstrating the exothermic
