Expectativas y satisfacción de los usuarios de establecimientos farmacéuticos minoristas, de la Localidad Antonio Nariño, en los barrios Policarpa Salavarrieta y Santander, en la ciudad de Bogotá.
Background: cognitive services offered by drug stores, focused on improving the process of drug use and evaluating and monitoring the results of pharmacotherapy. Aim: to assess perception and Expectations offered by drug stores about information the use of medicines, from the Policarpa Salavarrieta and Santander neighborhoods in the Antonio Nariño locality in Bogotá. Method: Cross-sectional descriptive observational study through semi structured interviews to characterize the drug store and a poll to know expectations and level of satisfaction of their inhabitants. Results: user expectation exceeds 83%. “Satisfied” does not exceed 64.8% perception. 88% director drugstores are non-pharmacy technicians. 3 employees per drugstore. The main source of information is provided by the pharmaceutical industry, followed by searching for information on the internet. 75% of drug stores report not receiving information about the use of medications. The most requested information refers to the form of reconstitution of medications, dosage and care to taken with the administration of medications. 89.9% of those surveyed reported having purchased at least one drug in a drugstore in the last six months and 59.1% stated that the drug was recommended by a doctor. The study shows great acceptance and satisfaction of patients with the service received. However, the majority of participants are regular users of the pharmacy, which may overestimate the results obtained. Conclusion: patient satisfaction with the service received wasn’t very high
