Abstract:

The research focuses on theoretically and technically validating the parameters of thermal comfort by studying the use of the stalk of Bactris Guineensis in wall construction, specifically in an experimental climate replicating the conditions of the Mojana Sucreña in Colombia. This material is compared with concrete blocks and wattle, highlighting its potential to enhance bioclimatic efficiency and economic viability in the region. The research approach involves a passive bioclimatic design as a theoretical analysis, aiming to provide relevant information on how this material can benefit users of primary health centers. The document records the theoretical and technical validation of the construction, using mathematical models, statistics, and simulations in specialized software to assess thermal comfort values compared to applicable standards. In summary, the research seeks to validate the parameters of thermal comfort by exploring the potential of the stalk of Bactris Guineensis as a construction material, adapted to the specific conditions of the Mojana Sucreña and complying with national and international regulations applicable to the case study.
