The present has the intention of announcing an exercise investigativo that from the area of investigation Economy, work and company and the program of Social Work of the University Exte􀀜nado de Colombia had his development. It is at the time, due to the condition of violation of rights that comes from the State and relapses into the company itself, which there is born the interest to approach a social phenomenon since it to be the malnutrition of the children and girls of the people Wayuu from an approximation to the aborigens' social representations Wayuu; phenomenon which has of bottom a political, economic and cultural sense. Factors that have provoked that the situation that lives through the department sharpens as the years went by. Approached this problematics from a methodological qualitative approach, where, across the approximation to elements of the social representations (since they it were the habitus, the practices and the perceptions) of the People Wayuu it is achieved to understand the form since there are understood the processes of nutrition and supply.
