Abstract:

Since the concept of decent work emerged in the late 1990s, four elements were proposed - fundamental principles and rights at work, generation of greater job opportunities for men and women, social protection and social dialogue, and strengthening the organizations of the social actors involved in it - which must be kept in mind so that each nation welcomes and can guarantee each of the citizens what has been known as employment under all conditions of dignity. Under the guidelines of guaranteeing dignity and decency at work, countries like Mexico and Colombia have begun to adopt a series of measures that would guarantee a job characterized by dignity and decency for each inhabitant with some type of disability in each of these nations.
