The development of this document is based on the interest of presenting the basic elements of what can be understood as knowledge management and the way in which it can impact on the development of the human resource manage ment processes, taking into account that The latter must be seen as that essential element so that organizational development and competitiveness can be achie ved because it is thanks to the way in which human management processes are carried out, the business impact that is sought can be achieved thanks to the execution of the activities for which they have been hired. The aim is to make an analysis of various authors who have exposed knowledge management, a fun damental tool that should characterize any type of organization that should see it as an essential source for its development. Knowledge management should be focused on looking at how this should be related to human resource management in any type of organization, regardless of its size or economic activity, bearing in mind that, to achieve knowledge management, understanding is necessary of the value of technology and information as essential tools so that tacit knowledge can become explicit.
