This work includes several conceptual and methodological aspects according to, in the first place, with the dynamics of cinematographic language as a reading argument. Secondly, it addresses perspectives corresponding to the jargon model, within the contributions given by the sign and the signifier, which enable the identification of common properties in a social relationship process immersed in a specific communicative context. Subsequently, it links such evidence with an in-depth analysis of the Colombian film La gente de La Universal to understand specific sociocultural aspects, making reference to the events in which slang is used as an important factor of enunciation in the characters. Finally, it develops a didactic approach that brings together each of the criteria contemplated to generate practical evidence from experiences and application in a classroom.
