This text is a compilation of my creative process, in which I seek to find the possible causes of the fear that women feel in the streets and some triggers of violence of which we are victims in the public space, based both on my personal experience, like the one shared by a group of women close to me. Women I decide to have talks and carry out creative laboratories around their experiences on the streets of Bogotá. Throughout the text, I investigate the causes of violence against women in public space, taking fear as the starting point of this project. For the development of this work, I constantly compare existing theories on these topics with my personal experience, and the results of the laboratories carried out. I show the importance of art to change some social imaginaries, which leads me to question those that occur around the role of women in public spaces through the practice of poster art, these imaginaries being one of the causes of the violence that we suffer in the streets. The starting point of this project is my personal experience regarding the sexual violence of which I was a victim in the streets, therefore, what interests me is the action of hitting posters on the walls of the streets of Bogotá since this activity has helped me, since resistance, to combat fear and to question the imaginaries that exist about the role of woman in public space. The action is in itself the result of the investigations that I made for this project. The importance of temporality and the use of technological tools used for these practices will help me transmit this experience live.
