Regionalization is a fundamental concept in territorial arrangement taking in consideration the fact that the starting point is an existing spatial organization to obtain in the future another way more efficient that is able to solve problems of human order, as those of the natural environment and of use of the resources. In the past there were many discussions around the type of regions that the country could adopt; from a practical point of view, this depends on the object and objectives of the planning, arrangement and administration, of the level socioeconomic, development and in the way o f wanted space organization. A nevv way of regionalization of a country with ends o f territorial arrangement and planning of the development should have among its objectives those of reordering administrative- politic division and a territorial trame of development, is logical to suppose that it is defined with an integral character and that it embraces economic, social, administrative and insti-tutional aspects. It should be based on the reality of the country and of vvhat is vvanted to be in the future, based in the human resources and natural of each space and in the ecological political and o f economic and social development. The regionalization can be made in multiple ways but in the case of the territorial arrangement, for most part of the country, the region should be a functional space as expression of his way of organization, and in the marginal areas, where the natural elements prevail and the human action is incipient, the logical would be to combine the approach of space polarizaron with that of natural spaces defined by conditions of homogeneity.
