The aim was to evaluate the substitution effect of the commercial concentrate by stubble flour of peanut (Arachis hypogaea) about the productive indicators during the growing-fattering stage in rabbits. It was used a design of block at hazard with 60 male animals at weaning at 35 days; a weight of 646, 6 grams, divided in five experimental groups (0, 8, 16, 24 y 32% of substitution) of 12 animals and 4 replies each one. It was determined the chemical composition of the foods and productive indicators (partial weight, final weight, daily medium gain, conversion, consumption and weight, yields and parts of the channel). It was carried out an analysis of double variance using the program Statistics for Windows, version 6.0, means were compared by Duncan test. The best results were obtained in the treatment of 24 per cent of substitution after the control, obtaining weights 2256.6 y 2189.6 g, respectively, meanwhile, the one of 32 % was the past part with 1854.3g. This situation was maintained for all the indicators, but to the consumption of dry matter, where the control was of 6774, 41g and the one of 24% of 6964, 56, observing significant differences for p<0.05. In this way it was arrived at the conclusion that HRM have nutritive characteristics that permits to substitute up to 24% of the fodder in the diet for rabbits in growingfattering, with productive results very similar to the control.
