Aim. He proposed a process understanding of health education that receives demobilized in the municipality of Medellin. The research answered the question Is there a health education program in the municipality of Medellin Antioquia which complements the educational process and reintegration into civilian life of demobilized? The objective was to determine the health education process in the municipality of Medellin demobilized. Materials and methods. The design was qualitative and methodological strategy was in-depth interviews and analysis of the data generated from the interviews, with the participation of officials working with demobilized individually and collectively. Results. We found that health education programs to demobilize include family health, vaccination, screening for breast and cervical cancer, oral health, sexual and reproductive health education, drug abuse, environmental care among others, also the education process health is conditioned to SGSSS and intervention that EPS and IPS can offer. Conclusions. The process differs depending on the priorities of government, which does not allow the operation is continuous and sometimes effective
