Determinantes sociales de la salud predictores de la condición física saludable en escolares entre 12 y 18 años de edad de la ciudad de San Juan de Pasto
To establish the social determinants of health as predictors of healthy physical condition in schoolchildren between 12 and 18 years of age in Pasto city. Methodology: This is a descriptive - transversal study with a correlation phase. 322 students from public and private schools in Pasto city were evaluated. The sociodemographic survey was used to investigate the individual and social determinants, and the Alpha-fitness battery was applied based on evidence to evaluate the physical condition. The statistical analysis was performed in the SPSS program, version 24. Results: Eight out of ten students in the city of Pasto have an unhealthy physical condition and this maintains a close correlation with sex and eating habits, therefore the prognosis This research found that in this population men have a 89.5% probability of having an unhealthy physical condition, for their part in women that probability is 78%, this is because in this population there are no good eating habits, in conclusion men are more predisposed to have an unhealthy physical condition in the future. Conclusions: The predictive factor and the goodness of the model of this research determined in the prognosis that an individual of male sex in this population has a probability of 89.5% of having an unhealthy physical condition, while in a woman that probability is of 78%.
