Sin embargo, los intentos de formularlos parecen indicar que no hay un objeto unico al que corresponda la expresion ��calidad arquitectonica�� (como un aspecto de la calidad del habitat). Con el animo de contribuir a esclarecer la diversidad de sentidos y los contextos que les corresponden, el presente texto invita a considerar las formas de entender la calidad, las alternativas para su definicion como adecuacion entre caracteristicas y requisitos. De esta manera, se plantea un ejercicio anterior a la definicion de indicadores sobre la calidad del habitat. El punto de partida del ejercicio que se expone es un distanciamiento de las definiciones de calidad empleadas en el contexto de la certificacion de calidad. Este distanciamiento se emprende desde la referencia a la tradicion del pensamiento sobre el ser (acerca de lo que hay). A partir de estas tradiciones, sin pretender una revision exhaustiva, se confronta un planteamiento que sostiene a la vez, la existencia de la calidad de habitat y la imposibilidad de definirla (la cualidad sin nombre). A continuacion, con respecto a esta afirmacion radical de la existencia de la calidad del habitat, se reconstruye la imagen en negativo de aquello de lo cualconstituye una critica; cierta idea de calidad arquitectonica (la excepcion positiva). Con respecto a la idea de calidad arquitectonica, asi planteada, se examina la pertinencia de su especificidad, frente a su disolucion en un concepto de calidad del habitat (la institucion arquitectura). Para concluir esta reflexion, anterior a una definicion de indicadores de calidad arquitectonica, se considera la dificultad de una definicion ostensiva de calidad arquitectonica y sus consecuencias (una promesa, aunque incumplida). EnglishIt is customary to define quality in terms of adjusting. In these terms the quality is defined within quality certification systems, such as customization between features and requirements. This way of defining quality, at first, seems sufficient to set attributes, variables, indicators and weighting systems. However, the attempts to formulate them, suggest that no single object corresponds to the term �architectural quality �(as an aspect of habitat quality). In an effort to help clarifying the diversity of meanings and corresponding contexts, the following text invites us to consider the ways of understanding the quality, alternatives to its definition as a customization between features and requirements. Thus an exercise prior to the definition of indicators arises regarding the habitat quality. The starting point of the exposed exercise is a separation from the definitions of quality used in the context of quality certification. This separation is undertaken from the reference to the tradition of thought about being (regarding to what exist). From these traditions, without attempting to an exhaustive review, there is an approach that supports both the existence of habitat quality and the inability to define it (the quality without name). Then, with regard to this radical assertion of the existence of habitat quality, an image in negative is built which states a criticism regarding some idea of architectural quality (The positive exception). With regard to the idea of architectural quality, the relevance of their specificity is examined, compared to its dissolution on the concept of habitat quality (The architecture institution). To conclude this discussion, prior to a definition of architectural quality indicators, the difficulty of an ostensive definition of architectural quality and its consequences is considered (A promise, though unfulfilled).
