Las estaciones de servicios de la ciudad de Barranquilla, son entidades organizadas y comprometidas en la adquisicion de nuevas tecnologias, en la cual el 39 % de las estaciones de servicios invierte tecnologias duras como surtidores electronicos y el 35% en tecnologias blandas como el software Servipunto; el 46% de las estaciones invierte a partir de sus propios recursos en periodos no menores a 3 anos. Estos resultados permiten generar estrategias de fortalecimiento del sector, ofreciendo asi un mejor servicio, aumento en el nivel de las ventas y por consiguiente el incremento de la competitividad.
