This paper presents an analysis on the impact of agricultural GDP in agricultural employment level for a sample of 10 Latin American countries in the period 1990-2010, for this, in this article an employment model proposed by Harvey-product was developed (1986) with the methodology of panel data; further a literary collection for each country on agricultural economic policies, the economic situation of the sector and the behavior of the main variables of the same was made, in order to contextualize the results of the econometric model where a negative impact of agricultural GDP in the level of agricultural employment and the same behavior for all countries was determined.
