In this final project, a particular proposal for a Colombian company has been developed about the actions must be followed from the point of view of the financial management to strengthening its current financial organizational structure. The conceptual framework pretends to expose the set of concepts that describes and explain the situation under study through definitions, meanings and perspectives. The investigation is based on an electrical engineering company. As part of the methodology, initially a financial diagnosis was made from a qualitative and quantitative point of view to assess the current financial situation. As a complement, a look to the sector allows identify the strategic approach and define the strategic goals that lead the structure definition. This structure will allow achieve these goals to increase its value, achieving the basic financial objective and validating the expression “the structure follows the strategy”. Finally, as a result of this investigation work, it shows a proposal about how would be the support financial organizational structure.
