This research involves many questions of both the nursing profession, and from my teaching. According to Fernandez-Salinero (2006), the skills are considered a reasoned expertise to deal with uncertainty, (quoted by Lopez Carrasco, 2013, p. 6), likewise, competencies form a complex structure of attributes, where combining two types of knowledge: explicit or codified and tacit or personal; the first systematic and transferable through the formal language and, the second, is difficult to formalize and communicate, so the objective was traced for research: determine specific teaching skills in nursing, with this the objectives were achieved.
