Woman citizenship as event of political recogmtion is of very recent appearance, nevertheless, citizenship as a participation event in social and public life has always be en present in the world. Although woman was folded to the strictly domestic world from the antiquity, she has always fulfilled a roll of constructor of civility, society, culture and citizenship. The exit of the woman of the strictly domes tic world and the entrance to education in the 30s years of the previous century, had a decisive significance in the reclamation of participation in public function and subsequently active participation in political activities. For that reason, these events were produced in consecutive decades until concluding to present time with the recognition ofthe citizenship in 1954 and its permanent activity until today; constructing always rights, civility and culture.
