Qualitative study conducted in a systemic approach and framed within the parameters of the researchintervention, which aimed to identify problems of the elderly people lead them to seek psychological help and how these relate to their narratives about aging, exploring the utility of systemic therapy and in some cases using artistic elements. We worked with 3 consultants of 66, 67 and 73 years old, the results indicate that the reasons for consulting older people although they are related to their stage of life, not determinants, even as age increases, people tend to look less often psychotherapeutic support, leaning more casual accompaniment spaces where the conversation from shared experiences is the most significant, this bearing in mind that one of its main problems is the loss of loved ones that results in processes of grief, loneliness and the search for new projects that give meaning to their life stage.
