This document presents the results of a research project on critical reading with a group of high school students. The research was characterized by being qualitative, the design of a didactic unit and using the case study as the main research technique. It is concluded that the intervention process carried out allowed the development of the level of critical reading in its different dimensions: inferential, relational, intertextual, evaluative and contextual, in students focused on the research process.
