The importance of gender studies lies not only in its grounds of development but inother aspects. Nevertheless, the socio-cultural factors are held as determinants of thereproduction differences between the genders and women’s discrimination, speciallyin fields of high vulnerability such as the rural social space.The heterogeneity of the rural social space is associated to the rural school surroundingsand its analysis and comprehension constitute a starting point for secondarypedagogical work that should be carried out. It consists in submitting gender relationshipsboth to thought and pedagogical criticism, as systematic and explicit, sothat learning habitus of equity of gender begins to be built, With this purpose, newpractices are going to be included in the social school relations, and thence, spreadto local communities
