Se proponey ejemplifica el proceder metodologicoque favorece el desarrollo de habilidades de comprension textual en la resolucion de problemas matematicos,teniendo en cuenta el empleo del Programa Heuristico General y la utilizacion de los niveles o etapas de comprension, lo que constituye, un instrumento de direccion del proceso de aprendizaje yuna base orientadora para el trabajo con problemas. EnglishThis paper includes the theoretical references that supports the understanding of texts and problem solving. It proposes and exemplifies the methodological procedure that favors the development of text comprehension skills in the resolution of mathematical problems, taking into account the use of the General Heuristic Program and the use of the levels or stages of understanding, which constitutes an instrument of direction of the learning process and a guiding base towork with problems.
