The study of soft robotics explores the use of alternative materials that allow flexible mechanisms based on nature. It implemented the use of smart materials to make these designs come true. Their properties allow them to be modified under external stimuli. An important application in development involves the design of systems that benefit humans, specifically in health and rehabilitation. Taking advantage of the mechanical and thermal properties of the material known as shape memory alloys (SMA), the design of an artificial muscle imitates the viscoelastic phenomenon of the real is proposed and can potentially be used to generate movement in a prosthesis soft robotic finger.
