Estrategia de formación continuada para mejorar las prácticas de Enseñanza del Inglés como lengua extranjera, a través del enfoque CLIL en el grado primero de Educación Básica de la Institución Educativa San Isidoro
The objective of this research is to develop a continuing training strategy based on the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach for the teaching of English as a Foreign Language (EFL), in order to contribute to the improvement of the teaching practices of First Grade teachers of Basic Primary Education in the San Isidoro School in the municipality of El Espinal, Tolima, based on the process carried out during the pedagogical practices, completed by the researchers and guided by the tutor teachers of the institution previously mentioned. The methodology used was based on the application of four techniques: participatory observation, semi-structured group interview, survey and focus group dynamic, which aimed to obtain information about the context and the methodological knowledge or strategies implemented by nine teachers from the different branches of the San Isidoro educational institution. Finally, based on the results obtained, it was designed a continuing training strategy of kind diploma course in implementation of the CLIL approach for teaching English in this context.
