This article is the result of the research project State of the art Territory, Peace and Development from Colombian scientific production (2000-2015) Development category, a commitment under the methodology called research for action and decision-making . In this sense, it is worth asking ourselves: How to understand the concepts of territory, peace and development and their relationships from the conceptual discussions at the global level and research carried out in Colombia 2000-2014. In this work, a tour of the conceptual discussions at the world level was carried out, an analysis of the Colombian scientific production with respect to the three categories and their different relationships, as well as the distances and gaps between the conceptual discussions at the world level and the scientific production Colombian in the last 15 years.
