Relación entre los conocimientos, sobre innovación, y las prácticas desarrolladas por los instructores del centro de comercio y servicios del SENA regional caldas
The Services and Trade Center, at the Colombian National Learning Service – SENA, has performed measurements, concerning the innovation factor, through the self-assessment process, in the year 2016, which involved the academic community of the institution. The Innovation Factor and the technological development resulting along the training projects at the Technological Training Center are located in “Not fulfilled” qualification. The Technology Transfer Factor is also qualified as “Not fulfilled” and the Innovation Management Factor is qualified as “Acceptably fulfilled”. The trainers are an essential factor and they, in their role as mediators, must guarantee the knowledge translation so that the trainees entirely develop their potentials in the course of the training process. This work aims at defining the relationship between innovation knowledge and practices developed by the trainers at the Services and Trade Center at SENA, Regional Caldas. For this, a descriptive study with the participation of twenty-four trainers at this Center was made. A technical survey was applied along with a pedagogical tool from the National School of Trainers. It was established, from the results obtained, that the knowledge concerning the innovation concept is low and that the practices developed by trainers are labeled as conventional ones, thus lacking a significant contribution to innovation.
