Evaluación de la mesofauna edáfica en sistemas de producción de café (Coffea arabica L.) bajo manejo convencional y en transición, municipio de Andes, Antioquia
The biodiversity functional of plants, insects and animals of those systems coffee of the SouthwestAntioquia offers multiple services ecosystem that give prosperity to the territory. Thisresearch assessed the functional groups of soil mesofauna, in the coffee production systems(Coffea arabica L), under conventional management and in transition. The methodology consisteda random sampling stratified by system of the mesofauna. At the same time, the stateof the physical and chemical properties of the soil was evaluated. The statistical analysis wascarried out by multivariate methods of the main components. The results evidence the greaterabundance and functional composition in the Transition II (Use of organic inputs)> Transition I(Rationalization of synthetic inputs) > Conventional (Use of chemical inputs) order. In conclusion, the soil fertility is greater in the sustainable production systems than in the conventionalsystems.
