The purpose of this research was to create a monitoring system for users of the family planning program, integrating criteria of the “Tic for services” component of the Online Government strategy. The methodology was developed in three phases, in the first phase the architectures and data models of the existing software systems in ASSBASDALUD E.S.E were identified, in the second phase two software subsystems (web and desktop) were developed through the implementation of the ICONIX development process and finally a pilot test was carried out on the software subsystems developed. The implementation of the two subsystems of the information system, allowed to generate channels and possibilities of communication with the users of the family planning program, through these it was possible to follow up a greater number of users who attend appointments, has been provided information of the family planning program and has enabled scenarios of adherence and control to their family planning method. This research sought to generate a great impact, both in the health-providing entity and throughout the Manizalena community of the subsidized regime that is attended by Assbasalud ESE, by demonstrating that the incorporation of technological tools in the area of health, opens roads and new horizons for doctors, nurses and users to effectively monitor the different health programs and thus promote a better quality of life.
