The crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic generated, in 2020, a number of difficulties and accentuated problems of a socio-business, health and environmental nature. Likewise, concern arises from the corporate governance of all types of entities to address the obstacles generated by the pandemic from the management of an organizational leadership that prioritizes the care of life in society, the environment and the economy. Thus, the objective of the article is to analyze the role of corporate governance and BIC societies as a strategy for a sustainable economic reactivation against COVID-19. The approach methodology was carried out under a descriptive study. As a result, the categories of planning and risk management, relationship with interest groups, transparency and disclosure of information and continuity of the company were established, in order to resort to the best corporate governance practices to face the complex reality generated by the pandemic.
