espanolEn este articulo se reflexiona sobre los efectos y amenazas que la pandemia del virus Covid-19 ha provocado en todos los ordenes de la sociedad y, de manera particular, en la garantia de los derechos humanos. Se contextualiza la situacion de emergencia en el caso colombiano, como referencia a las medidas excepcionales tomadas por los diversos gobernantes de la region, que confrontan los limites y proteccion a los derechos humanos. Por ultimo, se recurre a la figura del control de convencionalidad, propia del sistema americano de proteccion de derechos humanos, como un mecanismo de control normativo, pertinente, para afrontar como region, las dinamicas y retos impuestos por la emergencia sanitaria a las sociedades latinoamericanas, en aras de atender el cumplimiento de su deber frente a la real y efectiva salvaguarda de los derechos afines a la dignidad humana. EnglishThis article reflects the effect and threats that the Covid-19 virus pandemic has caused in all areas of society and, in particular in the guarantee of human rights. The colombian case is contextualized, as a reference to the exceptional measures taken by various rulers of the region, which confront the limit and protection of human rights. Finally, the figure of conventionality control is used typical of the American human rights protection system, is welcomed as a relevant regulatory control mechanism to face, as a region, the dynamics and challenges imposed by the health emergency on Latin American societies for the sake of attend the fulfillment of the duty against the real and effective safeguard of human rights.
