The population changes that have marked the last century of human history have generated a series of changes in the supply of food and water, which could lead to serious clashes and disputes between states or individuals, in an attempt to ensure a permanent supply of these resources. Despite the efforts of states and their institutions, the situation in developing countries is getting worse every day and, on the contrary, the gap between rich and poor is widening, due to the purchase of land by large capitals, which generates centers of power and alternative monopolies within the state.
