This article presents the real case of an agrochemical company domiciled in Colombia, which allowed the distribution process to its customers to be analyzed, with the objective of finding a better way to operate. The problem presented is: how can something that is in operation be done in a better way? Through the analysis of various research and models, it is determined how to proceed with the required modeling. The result of this exercise is a work where the current logistics processes are analyzed in the light of research procedures, obtaining not only an accurate diagnosis, but also plausible, measurable and sustainable improvements in their logistics processes.
