Condiciones personales, sociales y familiares que instan a los adultos mayores a ingresar a la educación formal: La experiencia en los Ciclos Lectivos Integrados (CLEI) del Municipio de Sabaneta (Antioquia)
The research carried out aimed to analyze personal conditions, and family strategies that guide decision-making in older adults in the municipality of Sabaneta to start their studies in CLEI Integrated Lecture Cycles taking into account the little information that is found about it in the database and the motivation they have to make themselves felt in society. Therefore, the theoretical categories worked were education as a continuous process of human formation, the learning from the constructivist perspective and human formation in education in the older adult. The methodology used was qualitative, phenomenological - hermeneutic in favor of interpreting the reality of the elderly in the context educational, in other words, understand the characteristics of a specific situation. The techniques used were: the semi-structured interview, life stories, Sociodemographic survey were established using the categories found: 1. Flexible methodology and learning processes. 2. Interaction processes and learning. 3. Cognitive development, observed in field work with the adult higher. Finally, the analysis of the data collected led to the discovery that the adult older begins their studies for a reason of a cultural conscience, feeling incomplete and of a personal and integral accomplishment.
