At the present day, Pymes have been consolidated into a fundamental pillar for economic development at the local, regional and national levels. For this reason, the realization of this present work was precisely based on the diagnosis to those that structure the textile-confections sector in the municipality of Tulua, Valle, in order to determine their dynamics at the internal level and likewise the participation which have been taking place in other markets, because it can't be ignored that the export process has become a determining factor for each company to overcome the challenges imposed by globalization and competitiveness. The present investigation is about the Pymes companies of the textile-confections sector in the city of Tulua-valle, whose objective was to analyze the export potential, the methodology applied is descriptive, they dealt with topics such as the general sectorial environmental characteristics of Pymes in the export processes in Colombia in the last five years (2011-2016), the factors and variables that have been taken in the export dynamics the Pymes in the clothing sector located in the Municipality of Tulua. The research technique is the survey and the interview made to the textile confections sector and the other sources of information. As a result obtained, potential factors of improvement were identified and a conceptual model or of the sector was structured that lead to an increase of the competitiveness of the Companies from the improvement of their operations, it is concluded that the garment companies of the municipality of Tulua-Valle, notice a low level by a planning lack of knowledge of the textile productive process in clothing market, because it is not a state of the art technology and are not adapted to the volatile market, that is, changing both nationally and internationally. It should be noted that most of these companies are family or informal companies, that is, they are not subscribed in the Chamber of Commerce. Finally, a series of recommendations are formulated that lead to a continuous improvement in the Pymes analyzed
