The research method was qualitative, supported by a combined methodology between ethnography that allows the observation of territorial reality, and phenomenology to address the study of social reality. It was possible to identify the processes of territorialization and urban growth through cartographic models of the phenomena of transformation of the landscape in Zuria, through a multitemporal analysis of the property subdivision. The result is that the local territorial expressions formed are a response to the modes of appropriation and occupation of the territory, from the application of Territorial Planning and Development instruments adopted in the municipality of Villavicencio, which modified the landscape, thus consolidating one at a time. more urban. It is concluded that the cartographic models facilitate a historical reading of the colonization phenomena, becoming an input for the analysis of territorialization in Zuria, allowing the interpretation of the construction process of a fragmented space with strong pressures on local biodiversity.
