The objective of this study was to describe, based on the perceptions of the students and the teaching staff, the factors that affect school coexistence in the 8th grade of the Belen School. A descriptive, interpretive and qualitative approach design was used in a sample of 50 students and 10 teachers. Interviews were conducted and a questionnaire on perceptions of school coexistence in students and teachers was used. The main findings of the study show the emergence of 4 factors that affect the proper development of coexistence in the Belen School. It was considered important to generate spaces for dialogue, reflection and agreement between educational actors from the development of a program to strengthen school life.
