Correspondencia entre competencias laborales y competencias esenciales en salud publica algunos profesionales que integran los equipos de salud pública del departamento de Caldas 2018
Objective: Identify the correspondence between job skills and essential competencies in Public Health of the professionals that make up the public health teams of the Territorial Health Directorate of the Department of Caldas 2018. Taking into account sociodemographic characteristics, human talent, indicators in health, Essential functions in Public Health, essential competencies in public health, professional profiles of the professions and regulatory framework. Methodology: It is a cross-sectional descriptive study with qualitative and quantitative data, the target population consists of professionals that make up the public health teams. Non-probabilistic sampling, for convenience. Use of statistical package SPSS V23 with a confidence margin of 95% for quantitative variables. Results: 69.7% of the participants are women, their average age is 39 years, 81.81% exercise disciplinary functions, 3.03% multidisciplinary and 15, 15% both, a relationship was found between the variables definition and risk of threats and management of policies and plans with the type of function. Conclusions: Correspondence between occupational competencies and essential public health competencies is presented in the variables defining hazards and health risks and in the variable management of health policies and plans in the participants of the Territorial Health Directorate of Caldas.
